In class 8, we learned how to use Spark AR to create a face filter. The interface of Spark AR is similar to Unity. A variety of features are available in the software and the overall developing experience is easy. We are able to create innovative face filters from sketches and the filters function perfectly on Instagram and Facebook. The patch editor is also easy to grasp because it works the same as Grasshopper.

For this week, I created a mask filter and hand tracker. When people hold one hand up and open their mouths, a triangle will appear on the hand. It is a fun experiment to get familiar with Spark AR.
